Good morning everyone, today is Tuesday, November 18, 2025 and today is a cycle A Day.

PROPER USE OF SCHOOL RESTROOMS – Students are reminded that our school restrooms are shared facilities that should be treated with respect and care. Please remember the following expectations:

  • Use restrooms appropriately. Restrooms are intended for their designated purpose only.
  • Do not write on walls, stalls, or fixtures. Graffiti, vandalism, or any form of damage to school property is unacceptable and may result in disciplinary action.
  • Maintain cleanliness. Dispose of trash properly, flush toilets after use, and wash your hands before leaving.
  • Show respect for others. Keep restrooms a safe, clean, and comfortable space for everyone in our school community.

By following these guidelines, we demonstrate respect for our school, our peers, and ourselves. Thank you for helping maintain a positive and respectful environment.

SRP Appreciation Day – Today, we celebrate the incredible SRP’s at Crispell who help to keep our students safe and ready to learn every day.  We appreciate all that you do to assist our teachers and our students here at Crispell.  Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

SMAD – The Students Making a Difference Club will meet today, November 18 after school instead of Wednesday this week to put together our Thanksgiving food baskets. Please meet in Mrs. Green’s room after school.

THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE – The Thanksgiving food drive is halfway over and we need more items to bring Thanksgiving dinner to local Pine Bush families! 7 Gold is currently in the lead with 55 items.  Bring in non-perishable food items such as mashed potatoes, gravy, mac and cheese, cranberry sauce, and canned vegetables to help your team win the Crispell Turkey Trophy! Any questions, please see Ms. Green or Ms. Prendys

“I MUSTACHE YOU A QUESTION” – The PTO and Student Council are sponsoring their “I Mustache You a Question” fundraiser this Thursday and Friday during all lunch periods.  Pay to choose a fun mustache and have it painted on your face.  All proceeds will be donated to men’s cancer awareness.

NOVEMBER CHARACTER TRAIT – As we continue focusing on gratitude and appreciation, remember that showing gratitude isn’t just about saying “thank you”—it’s also about showing it through your actions. Hold the door for someone, help a classmate who’s struggling, or write a quick note to thank a teacher or friend. Small acts of kindness show big appreciation!  Let’s keep spreading positivity and gratitude around our school this week!

EPILEPSY AWARENESS MONTH – November is Epilepsy Awareness Month, a time to learn more about a condition that affects nearly 1 in 26 people.  Epilepsy is a disorder of the brain that causes seizures, which are sudden bursts of electrical activity that can affect how a person moves, speaks, or feels for a short time. It’s important to remember that people with epilepsy are just like everyone else—they go to school, have friends, play sports, and enjoy life. What they need most from others is understanding and support. This month, let’s show that support by wearing purple, the official color for epilepsy awareness, and by being kind and inclusive to everyone. A small act of kindness can make a big difference.

YEARBOOK CLUB – The yearbook staff will meet after school tomorrow, November 19.

LIBRARY BOOK CLUB – The 6th Grade Lunchtime Library Book Club will meet this Friday, November 21.

SNOW DAY SHIRTS – Your science teachers are selling “Snow Day” t-shirts to support the 8th grade science awards.  Shirts cost $12.00.  Please see your science teacher if you are interested or have any questions.

KINDNESS – This is your friendly reminder from the school library that kindness is contagious — and we’re kicking off our “Pay It Forward with a Random Act of Kindness” program!  Here’s how it works:  All month long, we’re challenging everyone to do one small act of kindness for someone else. It could be holding the door, helping a classmate with homework, giving a compliment, or just sharing a smile. Then, encourage that person to pay it forward by doing something kind for someone else.  Stop by the library to pick up a suggested random act of kindness and show a little Crispell Kindness.

ART CONTEST – Calling all artists, this year’s poster design theme is “Picture Your Future Through a Drug Free Lens”. Try your hand at winning a cash prize up to $200! See the flyers posted around the building or ask Mrs. Renart in room 129 for details and supplies.

LUNCH – harvest waffles, baked cinnamon apples, chicken sausage patty, oven roasted potatoes, choice of milk
