Music and technology go hand-in-hand

March is Music in Our Schools Month!

Students in Danielle Hommel’s fourth grade general music class at Circleville Elementary School are learning how to code with a STEAM coding and composing project Coding mice were obtained through a grant from Orange and Rockland Utilities STEM Grant.

Projects like this combine the world of computer programming and music, and allow students to create their own original music.
