Each month, Circleville Elementary School celebrates all they’ve accomplished and look ahead to all that’s happening in the upcoming month.

For the November gathering, they sang the National Anthem and recited their No Place For Hate promise. Looking back, they mentioned the celebration of our veterans on Veterans Day and how they marked National Diabetes Day. They announced the bus of the month – hooray 502! They also announced the staff member of the month with a full drumroll – congratulations to Lauren Casamento who organized the “Cereal-sly Kind” assembly, complete with our kindness superheroes in attendance and the massive donation of cereal to local food pantries. They announced and acknowledged the student citizens of the month – one from each grade – which is amazing as their classmates cheered them on!

Looking forward, they went over the big events happening in December and acknowledged the December birthdays.

The Odyssey of the Mind team put on a skit, recapping the Gooseberry Park book every grade read last year, as part of the One School, One Book project. This year’s book is another in the Gooseberry Park sequel and the reading has begun!
They closed out with some music from PB & Jam and the Juice Box singers. They sang Lean On Me because, well, we all need somebody to lean on!
Great coming together, CES! So much to celebrate!
