EJR students make an amazing showing in ADAC essay contest

EJR students had an awesome showing in the ADAC annual Substance Abuse Prevention Essay Contest. Fifth-grade student Allis Friel placed third overall in the Grade 1-6 category and eight EJR students received honorable mention: fifth-graders Gavin Garcia, Jace Glielmi, Caitlyn Kessler, Michaela Mataraza, Aaron Pabon, Ariella Patras, Donald Regan and fourth-grade student Max Taylor. CVMS sixth-grader Leisa Jean-Baptiste captures honorable mention for ADAC poster contest

Hooray for Leisa Jean-Baptiste, a sixth-grade student at CVMS. Leisa received an honorable mention in the grade 4 to 6 category for the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council in its 36th annual Substance Abuse Prevention Poster Contest. Her principal, Lisa Hankinson, is very proud of her, as is our entire Pine Bush community!

District welcomes our fabulous seniors with dinner and a show

A Pine Bush tradition continues! Wednesday evening, March 22, the district hosted the senior citizen dinner and spring show, welcoming 116 area seniors for a full turkey dinner, dessert and, of course, the spring musical, Rent.   Superintendent Brian Dunn welcomed the guests and thanked them for their support. The PIne Bush Board of Education approved the calendar for the 2023-2024 school year at the March 15, 2023 board meeting. The calendar is also posted under the Parent/Community tab on the district website.

Transportation requests for non-public school students due April 1

Transportation requests for students in the Pine Bush Central School District attending non-public/private schools must be made by April 1. Students living in the district attending non-public schools must register with the Pine Bush district. Here is the non-public school student registration packet that must be completed. It includes the transportation request form.

Kindergarten registration for 2023-2024 school year is available anytime

Parents and guardians of students in the Pine Bush Central School District who will enter kindergarten in September 2023 may register at any time.
