This year, there are two meal programs from which to choose for families with children 18 and younger. Funded by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), both programs are sponsored by the Pine Bush Central School District.
However, each child may receive meals from only one of the programs.
Summer Meals To Go
This program provides five-day meal boxes with a variety of fresh seasonal produce, break, cereal and cereal bars, milk, peanut butter or eggs and cheese. They are available each Wednesday, from July 9 through Aug. 20.
In order to sign up for the boxes, submit this Google form each week by the Friday before the pick-up date to ensure availability. Meals can only be guaranteed if pre-registered by the Friday before.
- Dates: Wednesdays, July 9, 16, 23, 30, Aug. 6, 13, 20
- Time: 3:30 – 6 p.m.
- Location: Pine Bush High School Cafeteria
When picking up meals, come to Pine Bush High School and park in the front of the building, on the district office side. Follow the signs for pick-up. Adults may only pick up meals for children in their own household. We will not be providing curbside/drive up service.
Breakfast and Lunch Pick Up
Meals are prepared daily for children 18 years of age and younger. Pick up is at the Circleville Church, 890 Goshen Turnpike, in Circleville. No advance sign-up is needed. Drop by when meals are served. Each child can get free, healthy meals each day.
- Days available: Monday through Friday, July 7 through Aug. 22
- Pick up: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Where: Circleville Church, 890 Goshen Turnpike, Circleville
These food and meal programs are a great opportunity to help Pine Bush families cut back on their grocery costs for much of the summer. If you have any questions, please email caitlin.lazarski@pinebushschools.org or call 744-2031, ext. 4826.
