Senior picnic is May 30; bus parade follows from Circleville to Pine Bush

Dear Parent/Guardian:

The annual PBHS senior class picnic at Orange County Park is scheduled for May 30, 2023.  Students will have an opportunity to play a variety of sports, have lunch and socialize with classmates and faculty.

The buses will leave Pine Bush High School at approximately 9:00 a.m. and return at 2:15 p.m. for dismissal.  Students are asked to bring lunch, snacks, and beverages. Coolers, bags, and backpacks will be subject to inspection prior to boarding the buses.

When leaving the park to return to PBHS students will be in a “bus parade”. The buses will line up and drive by both middle schools and all the elementary schools as the students line the road and cheer on the future graduates. This will begin at approximately 1:30 at the south end of the district (Circleville).

All school rules will be applicable while at the park.  Our students in the past have always displayed excellent behavior, and we expect the same from this group as well.  Students may not walk on, or cross, the golf course. All students must ride to and from the park on the school-provided buses (NO EXCEPTIONS). Visitors and underclassmen are not allowed to attend.  To ensure safety, any food needing to be cooked over a grill must be supervised by a faculty member in the cooking area.

If your child wishes to attend, please sign and return this form to their English
teacher or rooms 140 or 222 no later than May 19, 2023.  Late registrations will not be accepted.

Please call me with any questions at 744-2031, ext. 3604.

Sincerely,

Michael Amsden
Assistant Principal
