PBHS YESS students do their part to clean up Roosa Gap Road

Pine Bush High School YESS (Youth Empowerment and Sustainability Skills) teacher Kara Sprague reports that 20 students came out on Sunday morning for the Roosa Gap Road clean-up! What a terrific turnout, especially on a Sunday morning!

A high school student with a backwards baseball cap, wearing jeans and a black shirt, stands in front of two large white bags of trash.

They filled so many bags with trash and recyclables. Some of the more interesting finds they came across: a television, a chair, tires, a Subaru hood ornament, a deer skull and a boogie board! Pretty interesting stuff!

Four high school students, some holding pickers and others holding interesting pieces of trash including a hood ornament for a Subaru, stand by several large bags of trash.

Nice job PBHS and YESS! Thank you for doing your part to clean up our environment!
