PBHS business class creates t-shirt for Valley Central Tinsel Trot

The students in Pine Bush High School’s Business Retail Management class with Nora Callahan collaborated with Valley Central students to create a t-shirt for a recent fundraiser that Valley Central hosted. The event, the Tinsel Trot, was to “ring” in their new track.

Five high school girls dress in various holiday attire- festive skirts and checked sleep pants, santa hats and elf hats. They are all wearing white tshirts that say tinsel trot.

We know our business students do a tremendous job on Pine Bush shirts, creating new ones for special events in the district as well as the fan favorites. Leigh-Ann Quaglietta, a staff member in the PBHS Counseling Department, lives in the VC district and got this ball rolling. PBHS junior Cole Miedema worked with Ms. Quaglietta to come up with some ideas and the students went to work. The result was an amazing image and some beautiful shirts.

“We were excited to work with another district on something positive,” said Ms. Callahan.

A group of high school kids, all wearing white tshirts that say tinsel trot, run on a track.

Congratulations to our students on such a terrific project. And congrats to our Valley Central neighbors on their new track!
