PB Pride Awards go to Chloe Rosa and Erin Crispell

The March PB Pride awards have been announced! Junior Chloe Rosa and teacher Erin Crispell received the honors!

Each month, Assistant Principal Dan Wargo accepts good news referrals and faculty shoutouts for students and staff members. Administrators then choose one student and one staff member to receive the PB Pride Award.

11th grade student Chloe Rosa

Staff members had high praise for Chloe, noting she deserves the PB Pride Award “for her commitment to Pine Bush High School, the Art Honors Society, Youth & Government, advanced coursework, and her artistic efforts, which have positively impacted each of the aforementioned groups here at Pine Bush High School. Chloe also works in a manner that allows others to express themselves, she encourages and cheers for her peers and her demeanor is a major asset in any environment where she employs her skills. As far as catalysts for student productivity go, Rosa is one of the best in the business.”

Erin Crispell, PBHS Teacher

In their shout-outs to Erin Crispell, her colleagues noted her hard work, compassion and humility that make her a role model for students and peers.

“Erin continuously works hard in doing what is best for her students. Not only is Erin deserving of such a wonderful recognition, she is also one of the most kind-hearted, caring and compassionate human beings. I am very proud to call her my coworker, friend, and someone I respect, admire and hold in the highest esteem. She is the prime definition of having grit and upholds herself to the highest standards while maintaining consistency in the quality of her work. She is a humble and kind person in and out of the classroom. There is no doubt in my mind that she is a one of a kind role model for both her students and peers.”

The PB Pride Award recognizes one student and one staff member each month who exemplify a positive attitude, support their peers and colleagues, and help create a welcoming, uplifting environment at PBHS. Both receive PBHS T-shirts, made by our awesome PBHS School Store, and certificates. They also get to wear a huge PB pendant and chain, which is then passed on to future honorees, made by our talented staff in the Haas Center.

Congratulations to Chloe Rosa and Erin Crispell, our March PB Pride Award winners! You both make us #PineBushProud!
