Members of the League of Women Voters (LWV) were at Pine Bush High School today, Wednesday, March 18, to register our high school students to vote. They will be returning Friday, March 20.

We partner with the LWV each year because we share a common goal – we want to promote voting so all voices are heard!
Students 16 and older may register. Those who are 16 and 17 will not be able to vote until they are 18 but they will be registered.

Ann Toner and Anne Sandro from the LWV registered students. Members of the National Honor Society helped spread the word to their peers during lunch periods. Students must have their learner permit or driver license, or know the last four digits of their social security number in order to register.

This is part of the district’s policy to promote voter registration to its students. The registration event is an annual happening. Thank you to PBHS English Department Chairperson Kelly Cooke for coordinating the event.
So register and let your voice be heard – vote!
