Hooray for the November Shining Stars at PBE

Each month, PBE holds its Shining Stars parade, where students and staff line the hallways and cheer on the shining stars for that month. The students chosen to participate are recommended by their teachers for being kind and respectful, hardworking, helpful and have a positive attitude. They also portray the Positivity Project character trait for that month.

Have a look at the slide show of November’s parade here.

A hallway filled with children and adults as a group of kids walks past them in a parade. A boy holds up his hand for a high-five and a girl with long dark hair claps.

Staff members are also honored to participate in the parade by being nominated by coworkers and then chosen at random for that particular month.

For November, PBE had a special guest lead the parade. Officer Brian Meier, the former SRO for PBE, just happened to be filling in for the day, which was his last day on the job before retiring.

Here’s to all the shining stars at PBE who give their best every day!
