Fourth-graders proudly present their published work - The Adventures of Tofu the Guinea Pig

Fourth-graders in Stacey Venzel’s class at PBE worked on their book, “The Adventures of Tofu the Guinea Pig,” earlier in the school year. Their stories and illustrations about Tofu were to be published in a book! Well that day finally happened and how exciting it was!

The books arrived and everyone was thrilled to open the box and see the result of their very hard work. They had a Proud Author celebration too. The students worked together to create Canva slides showing the writing process. Then they presented their slideshow and explained how it all happened.

They started with brainstorming and ended with a published book! The books were published through Studentreasures and the work has been entered into a contest. The entire process took three months, showing students just how much work goes into creating a publication. Copies are still available! Email stacey.venzel@pinebushschools.org if interested.
