CVMS inducts 43 new members into National Junior Honor Society

Circleville Middle School inducted 43 new members into its chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)on June 4, 2025.

Interim Superintendent of Schools Amy Brockner spoke to the students during the induction ceremony.

“This evening marks a milestone in your academic journey, but more importantly, it highlights who you are as individuals,” said Ms. Brockner. “NJHS stands on the pillars of scholarship, service, leadership, character and citizenship – and each of you has demonstrated these qualities in ways that are both meaningful and inspiring. You’ve earned this recognition, not just with your grades, but with your actions, your attitude and your willingness to lead by example.

Current members of the NJHS participated in the candle lighting, each candle representing the pillars of the group.

In order to be eligible and maintain membership in the CVMS National Junior Honor Society, students must:

  • have a cumulative GPA of 93 or higher;
  • participate in service and citizenship activities;
  • exemplify leadership in their role as ambassador of the society;
  • have good character;
  • uphold the rules of the district’s Code of Conduct.

We congratulate all of the new inductees and thank them for their hard work in getting here.

“We are so proud of what you’ve accomplished – and even more excited for all that lies ahead,” said Ms. Brockner. “Keep leading, keep learning and, most importantly, keep being exactly who you are.”
