Pine Bush Elementary students took part in the Presidential Mile recently. Third, fourth and fifth-grade students ran qualifying races to secure a spot in the finals on the high school track. We have… emus! Stacy Venzel’s fourth-grade class’s emus hatched overnight on June 4. The students had watched the beginning of the lengthy hatching process during the school day. On Tuesday, May 26, the board of education amended the student calendar, making Thursday and Friday, June 25 and 26, half days for elementary and middle school. June 26 is the last day of school.
