Boil water notice is in effect at PAK, CVMS; district will supply bottled water to students and staff

On Thursday, March 19, the Orange County Department of Health performed a water inspection at CVMS and PAK which showed a low residual reading for chlorine. Therefore, there is a boil water notice at each school.

The district will provide bottled water for drinking for all students and staff members until the boil water notice is removed. Our Operations and Maintenance Department is working to raise the chlorine level at both locations. Orange-Ulster BOCES will be notified, as they will perform the follow-up testing in order to have the boil water notice lifted.

We will keep all parents, guardians and staff members informed on our progress.
