Good morning everyone, today is Thursday, May 8, 2025 and today is a cycle B Day.

GIRLS SOFTBALL – The girls Modified Softball beat Cornwall in a close battle 9-6. 

NATIONAL LIBRARY WINNER – The winner of the National Library Month Book Review Contest and the McDonald’s gift card is Amelia Higinson-Close from Mr. Barth’s homeroom.  Thank you to all the students who supported National Library Month by reading a book and entering the contest.  Look out, a Summer Reading Challenge is on the way!

SPRING FLING – The Students Making a Difference and the Interact Club are hosting the Spring Fling on Friday, May 9 from 6:00-8:00 PM.  Tickets will be sold during lunch today, May 8.  Students who bring a new stuffed animal to the dance will receive a free concession stand item.  Stuffed animals will be donated to Garnet Pediatrics.

YEARBOOKS – Yearbooks will be here in early June.  There are only 25 copies left available to order.  Get yours today at jostens.com.

LAKE COMPOUNCE – Attention 8th Graders – Permission slips and money for the Lake Compounce trip are due this Friday, May 9.  Please turn in the completed forms to your homeroom teacher.

REMINDERS:

Students must be dropped off and picked up by the crossing guard on Borden Avenue.
Students must also cross by the crossing guard.
Students should not be picked up or dropped off in the parking lot across the street or on Route 302.
All students please remember to be safe, be responsible and be respectful.
