What’s the weather? Cloud in a Bottle investigation gives some answers

STEM coaches Alyson Callahan and Leilani Howard worked with PAK fifth-graders for a fun and informative science lab investigation – Cloud in a Bottle.  The focus is for students to be able to describe how water cycle processes and weather variables affect cloud formation.

A group of six fifth-grade students work at a table on a science experiment that involves a tall bottle.

Students worked in pairs to compress and release pressure from their bottles while observing changes in the air visibility and temperature. The students certainly have a better understanding of weather after this experiment!
