Second grade students make the rounds and come out with four spectacular craft projects

Pakanasink second-graders had an exciting day just before the winter break. The three classes were divided into four groups, with students from all classes mixed together. They were having a different craft in each classroom.

Caroline Prydal’s students made special snow globes with their pictures in them.

A teacher stands over a table with four second-graders working at it. She pours baking soda and sprays shaving cream together to make snow. The kids have their hands in the mixture.

Finally, Kara Freed had her group making snow with shaking cream and baking soda, after reading “The Snowy Day” with them.

Each group spent 30 minutes in each classroom and came out with four excellent crafts! What a fun day they had for sure!
