Today is an “A” Day

The Library will be closed this afternoon. (Library, Exam & Late AP Exam Schedules attached).

ATTENTION PBHS: Due to AP late testing, the library will be closed after school today. Peer Tutoring will take place in room 113.

All 9th, 10th & 11th grade students will be voting for their choice for Student Ex-Officio Board of Education junior member on Tuesday May 19th. Look for a voting link in your email on May 19th. One vote per student.

Attention PBHS! Interact is hosting a SHOES FOR SUCCESS fundraiser! Help us reach our goal of 100 bags by cleaning out your closet and donating your gently worn, used and new shoes to our #ShoeDrive fundraiser! No money involved! Just donate any shoes for women, men or children – and help us meet our goal by the end of MAY! Shoes can be dropped off in room 154! Clean out those closets!

Reminder Students: Enrollment is still open for this year’s Summer Academies! Applications are available in the Principal & Counseling Offices. Summer Academies are: Aviation, Fine Art, Leadership & Law, College Leadership & Law, Medical and Stem. Payments are due with your completed application! Don’t miss a great and rewarding opportunity!

The Skilled Trades Academy is excited to invite all students to explore the Trades Fair today 10 AM to 1 PM in the Technology Hallway. This event is designed to connect students with high-demand, high-paying career paths and education opportunities that offer rewarding alternatives to traditional four-year college pathways. Students interested in attending the Skilled Trades Academy Trades Fair during lunch should visit Mr. Dominick in the Main Office for a pass this morning.

REMINDER: The Art department has packs of art notecards for $10 and totes for $15 for sale in room 208. Proceeds go toward art scholarships. Cash, Check or Venmo accepted.

Badminton and Pickleball Club will be meeting on May 21st and on June 4th in the Main Gym after school.

The First Aid Club is hosting a Blood Drive on May 20th in the Aux gym. One donation can help save up to three lives, and your contribution could make a real difference for patients in need. Donating blood is safe, quick, and a great way to give back to the community. Free snacks and drinks for all donors. Community service hours available. Sign up with Mrs. DeVries in the Nurse’s Office or stop by the table outside the lunch room today. Faculty and Staff can walk in – no appointments necessary. Step up, make an impact, and help save lives. Every drop counts!

Culture & Cuisine Club will not be meeting. Our last meeting will be on May 21st.

The Chess Club in room 142.
Unity Club in the Counseling Office conference room. Our last meeting will be on May 21st.
World Literature Club’s last meeting will be on May 28th.
UPDATE: Youth in Government will not be meeting today.

Pine Bush Continuing Education
5HR PRE-LICENSING COURSE 2026
The NYSDMV mandates this course for all NYS permit holders.
Students must register on FamilyID.com please include a copy of photo
learner permit with payment. After completion of the class, the students
will be emailed to report to the Director of Continuing Education to sign off
on their MV-278 certificate, if they do not attend the Pine Bush Central
School District it will be mailed to the address on the permit. This
certificate is required to schedule a road test appointment.
