Pine Bush ENL celebrates its diversity

What a joyful gathering it was at Pine Bush High School when students and Two women wearing black getting food out of a potfamily members in the English as a New Language (ENL) program gathered for their annual potluck dinner, celebrating the diversity of our district.

 

 

Three high school girls smilingChildren enjoyed coloring and having their faces painted by the older students. All enjoyed sampling the cuisine of other cultures as each family contributed a homemade dish, from appetizers to desserts.

Cathy Aller, ENL leader for the district, welcomed everyone to the celebration and introduced her ENL team. Provided to the families were resources on English classes, health care and other valuable community programs.A line of people get food from the table
