The annual ENL International Dinner at Pine Bush High School was a wonderful evening filled with culture, community, and celebration! Families, students, and staff came together to celebrate the many cultures that make our school community so special. Guests enjoyed a variety of delicious foods, music, crafts, and activities that highlighted traditions from around the world.
Kim Steele, Elementary ENL Team Leader, introduced the elementary performance “Hello to All the Children of the World,” accompanied by CES ENL teacher Dave Miele on the piano. This song celebrates friendship, unity, and diversity.

Shelby Jakaitis, Secondary ENL Team Leader, introduced the secondary students’ projects which were posters that shared information about their home countries, traditions, and cultural backgrounds. The evening also featured an energetic Zumba lesson led by Nereida Cabrero, one of the H.S ENL teachers, bringing everyone together through music and movement.
It was truly a memorable night that celebrated diversity, encouraged cultural appreciation, and reminded us of the importance of learning from and embracing one another. A huge thank-you to everyone who helped make this special evening a success!
