PAK Students Search for Acorns in Fun Outdoor Lesson

Talk about a fun outdoor lesson! Our fourth and fifth graders from Ms. Freed’s class and second graders from Ms. McNally’s class, at Pakanasink Elementary, teamed up on a lesson involving acorns. The students worked together to make a prediction on how many acorns they would find on their nature walk. The range of predictions were as low as 10 to as high as infinity. After they finished their walk, they were able to collect a total of 850 acorns. Wow! Fantastic work by our elementary students!
