No injuries or damage from earthquake this morning

Good morning Pine Bush. There was an earthquake in the area this morning at approximately 10:25 a.m.

Some staff and students felt slight movement here throughout the district. However, no damage or injuries have been reported. District officials will continue to monitor the situation and report any changes.

According to news sources, the earthquake registered 4.8 on the scale and originated in Lebanon, N.J.  It was felt as far north as Boston.
