Mindful Art program culminates in beautiful exhibit by students

Pine Bush Elementary School partnered with Bethel Woods Center for the Arts for an eight-week program bringing mindful art to three of its classes – Kindergarten ICT, CASTLE grades 3-5 and CASTLE grades K-2.

The Mindful Art program introduced students in these classes to the world of expressive art making while teaching mindfulness skills through breathing exercises, sensory art activities and positive affirmations.

At the end of the eight-week program our artists gathered with some of their artwork to celebrate and share their creative accomplishments with teachers and staff, friends and family. How proud we are of all these young artists!
