There are some temporary changes we want you to be aware of at Crispell Middle School.
On March 24, the Board of Education accepted the resignation of Crispell Principal Stephen Wilder, effective April 9. We thank Mr. Wilder for his service to our students and district and wish him continued success in his future endeavors.
The district has launched an active search for a permanent principal, with the goal of having the new leader in place by July 1, 2026.
The Board of Education has appointed John Xanthis as interim principal for the remainder of the school year, effective Friday, April 10. A veteran educator, Mr. Xanthis brings a wealth of expertise to Crispell, and we are confident his leadership will ensure a productive and successful conclusion to the academic year.
Additionally, Brian Lynn, former assistant principal at Pine Bush High School, will serve as interim assistant principal during Chris Mummery’s short-term leave. We look forward to welcoming Mr. Mummery back around May 15.
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to provide a strong finish for our students.
