EJR raises $11,990 for American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge

Our EJR students spent the month of February learning all about keeping their hearts healthy by exercising and eating right. It was all part of the Kids Heart Challenge, an event sponsored each February  by the American Heart Association. Students learn about their heart health and raise money for the organization.

In addition to going through the challenging obstacle course, playing balloon volleyball, jumping rope, bouncing on the hippity hop balls and other great activities, students raised $11,990.93 for the American Heart Association. Great job to all, especially our terrific physical education teachers who organize this amazing event each year, Chris Curnan and Barbara Hostetter.
