“Your selection into the National Junior Honor Society is not simply recognition of strong academic achievement; it is also a reflection of your leadership, service, citizenship and character,” said Mr. Lenz. “All qualities that define outstanding young people and future leaders in our schools and communities.”

Mr. Lenz acknowledged the families, teachers and mentors who have encouraged the students every step of the way.

“Your guidance, encouragement and belief in them have helped shape the success we celebrate this evening,” Mr. Lenz said.
