Dear 7th Grade Student,

Welcome to the 7th grade! We are looking forward to working with you this year. We hope you are having a great summer and are starting to feel ready for a new school year! The beginning of each year is often a time of nervousness and excitement for students and parents. Rest assured, teachers feel the same way!

We hope the following information will help your transition to 7th grade go as smoothly as possible:

• You can find the seventh grade supply list on the district website. Set your mind at ease by coming into class prepared. It’s very important that you bring your own materials this year (click here for link).
• Please make sure that your summer reading is complete by the start of school. The summer reading list is located on the Pine Bush School website (click here for link).
• If you would like to get to know more about your team before returning back to school, check out your team website. You should become familiar with your team’s site because each team will use this to post materials, homework, and important information throughout the year. Review your schedule to see if you are on the blue or gold team (click here for link) 
• For math, it will be necessary to have a Texas Instruments TI-30XIIS calculator. This is the same calculator that was used in sixth grade. Please make sure to have this calculator for the upcoming school year. 

The school year will be here before you know it! Again, we are thrilled that you are entering seventh grade and cannot wait to work with you! Until then, enjoy the remaining few days of summer.

¡Bienvenido al séptimo grado! Esperamos trabajar con usted este año. ¡Esperamos que esté teniendo excelente verano y esté comenzando a sentirse listo para un nuevo año escolar! El comienzo de cada año suele ser un momento de nerviosismo y entusiasmo para los estudiantes y los padres. ¡Tenga la seguridad de que los profesores sienten lo mismo!

Esperamos que la siguiente información ayude a que su transición al séptimo grado sea lo más fluida posible:

• Puede encontrar la lista de útiles de séptimo grado en el sitio web del distrito. Tranquilízate llegando a clase preparada. Es muy importante que traigas tus propios materiales este año (haga clic aquí).
• Por favor, asegúrese de que su lectura de verano esté completa al comienzo de la escuela. La lista de lecturas de verano se encuentra en el sitio web de la Escuela Pine Bush (haga clic aquí).
• Si desea conocer más sobre su equipo antes de regresar a la escuela, consulte el sitio web de su equipo. Debe familiarizarse con el sitio de su equipo porque cada equipo lo utilizará para publicar materiales, tareas e información importante durante todo el año. Revisa tu agenda para ver si estás en el equipo azul o dorado (haga clic aquí).  
• Para matemáticas será necesario disponer de una calculadora Texas Instruments TI-30XIIS. Esta es la misma calculadora que se usó en sexto grado. Asegúrese de tener esta calculadora para el próximo año escolar.
