Today is a B day   

 

Student Council ~

We will have a general  information meeting after school on Wednesday, September 30th, in Rm. 153 (Ms. Williams’s room).  Any 6th, 7th or 8th grader interested in becoming a  leader of our school community is encouraged to attend!  Please see Ms. Cavallucci or Ms. Williams if you have any questions.

 

Odyssey of the Mind will be holding tryouts Wednesday, September 30th, from 2:15-3:30 PM in the Art room.  If you are interested in trying out, please stop by the Art room to see Ms. Petrosi to grab a permission slip.  All slips must be turned in to be able to try out.

 

Interact Club ~

Do you want to make a positive impact on your community?  If so, the Interact Club will be having its first meeting of the year after school on Wednesday, October 7th, with Mrs. Bobby in Rm 212.

If you’re interested in attending, please get a permission slip from the greeter’s desk.  Permission slips must be returned to Mrs. Bobby in order to attend the meeting.

We hope you’ll join us and “be the change you wish to see” in our school, community, and world!

 

Math Club ~

If you have a passion to solve problems, make new friends and change the world,  join the Math Club with Senor Samerson!  

Get a permission slip from the main office or Rm. 203.  We will have fun and compete!  See you at our 1st meeting!

 

SPORTS:

Yesterday, the boys and girls modified cross country teams competed against all other Orange Country schools at Thomas Bull Memorial Park.  Top athletes representing the girls team were Emily Angel, who came in first place out of all 8th grade girls, Shea Hundley, Ariana Ogilvie, and Emmily Rasmussen.  For the boys team – top runners were Nicholas Rubeis, Jonathan Wathe, Patrick Griffin and Preston Flores.

Congrats to the team on a job well done!
