Kindergarten is a year of teaching basic skills that ensure a lifetime of success for your child.  The following is a list of supplies your child will need for this school year.  Please bring the supplies to school on the day of your child’s Kindergarten Orientation.  Unless otherwise specified, please do not label these items with your child’s name.  One of kindergarten goals is to build a “community” of learners where everyone shares with and helps one another.

• 1 box #8 primary-sized fat crayons (8 per box) – not jumbo (Crayola suggested)
• 2 boxes #24 crayons (24 per box) (Crayola Suggested)
• 1 standard size backpack (labeled with child’s name) – Must be large enough to hold a standard size folder – no wheels please
• 1 towel that your child can fold. Please do not send a plastic resting mat.
• Adult-sized t-shirt to use as a smock (labeled with child’s name).
• 1 sturdy, plastic 5×7 crayon box (labeled with child’s name)
• 1 dozen pencils (Ticonderoga suggested; sharpened please)
• 1 pair of blunt tip children’s scissors (Fiskars suggested; labeled with child’s name)
• 1 container of Play-Doh (any color – 5 oz.)
• 1 package of baby wipes
• 10 large Elmer’s Glue Sticks
• 1  four-pack unscented dry erase markers (Expo preferred)
• 1 pair of non-white baby socks to use as dry erase board eraser
• 1 box of tissues
• 1 set of headphones (no earbuds) Labeled with child’s name
• 1 package of thin highlighters
