Career fair is a big success for students and businesses

The career fair at Pine Bush High School Thursday was a big success!

A man points to something on a table as a group of high schools students talk to him.

Students in grades 10, 11 and 12 had the opportunity to meet with representatives from 18 businesses and organizations, including Howmet Aerospace, the New York State Police, Adams Fairacre Farms, Hudson Valley Bookkeeping and Universal Technical Institute, to name just a few.

Pine Bush Central School District was also represented, offering soon-to-be graduates substitute opportunities if they are staying in the area after graduation.

Students meandered through the library where each business had a table set up and chatted with the representatives. A win-win for all involved as these business owners and representatives got to meet an enthusiastic, large group of potential employees!

A big thank you to all the businesses that participated, giving our students the opportunity to learn about so many different options for them.
