 II.   Approval of Minutes

The Board of Education will be asked to approve the minutes from the December 8, 2020 regular board meeting as submitted by the District Clerk.

 

III.   Reports, Recommendations of the Superintendent of Schools

1.   Consent Agenda

Recommend the Board of Education approve the following *revised Consent Agenda as submitted by the Acting Superintendent of Schools: ON WEBSITE

 

2.     CSE and CPSE Placement Recommendation                                       

Recommend the Board of Education approve all IEPs of the Committee on Special Education and the Committee on Preschool Special Education as submitted by the CSE and CPSE Chairperson and reviewed by Trustee  Graessle.

 

3.    Approval of Educational Consultant

Recommend the Board of Education approve an agreement with Mary Ann Wilson, d/b/a Wilson Learning & Leading (Consultant), for the Pine Bush Central School District, effective January 13, 2021 through June 30, 2021, at a rate of $700 per day, not to exceed 15 days (paid through the School Improvement Grant) in accordance with said agreement on file with the district clerk, and further authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to sign all applicable documents.

4.  Re-opening Plan Update – January 19, 2021

Donna Geidel, Acting Superintendent of Schools, will provide a re-opening update currently scheduled for January  19, 2021. This presentation will be provided in a PowerPoint format.

5.    Approval of Agreement

Recommend the Board of Education approve the following resolution:

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Pine Bush Central School approves an agreement with the Gene Hass Foundation (a fully executed copy of which will be placed on file with the District Clerk) upon suitable terms and conditions as recommended by the Board’s attorneys; and

BE IT ALSO RESOLVED, that the Acting Superintendent of Schools is authorized to execute such Agreement.

6.      Approval of Stipulation of Settlement

Recommend the Board of Education approve the following resolution: 

BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Pine Bush Central School District hereby approves a settlement of claims made on behalf of a student with a disability, identified as Student No. 011221, in accordance with the terms and conditions of a Stipulation of Settlement to be placed on file with the District Clerk, and further authorizes the Acting Superintendent to sign the Stipulation of Settlement.

Recommend the Board of Education appoint the following individual to fill the open community member seat on the Audit Committee school year, effective 1/13/2021:
