Return to More Learning Spring 2021

UPDATE: All Pine Bush Schools will return to five-day in-person instruction for those students who currently attend beginning May 17.

Students who remain remote will learn synchronously with their in-person classmates and teachers all five days.

Elementary students in the Pine Bush Central School District whose families have opted for them to have in-person instruction, will return to their classrooms four days each week beginning Tuesday, April 13, 2021.

Circleville and Crispell Middle Schools and Pine Bush High School will remain with the hybrid schedule they have had due to different distancing requirements from the New York State Department of Health. If/when that changes, the district will move to four-day, in-person learning for the secondary level as well.

UPDATE: Pine Bush High School and Circleville Middle School returned to four-day in-person learning on April 20. Crispell Middle School returned on April 27.

Mondays will remain as Mobile Mondays until May 17, with most students learning asynchronously. They will check in with their teachers on their Chromebooks and get their assignments for the day. They may do their work at their own pace.

Self-contained students will continue to report to school as they have been doing five days each week.

All who chose in-person learning will attend their schools all four days, from Tuesday through Friday .  Those who have chosen to learn remotely, will work synchronously with their teachers  throughout the day, Tuesday through Friday, meaning they will receive live instruction with their teacher in real time.

All in-person students must bring their fully-charged Chromebooks each day to school.

At the Pine Bush Central School District our primary commitment is to the students and families we serve. Our priority must be keeping them safe.

We have installed polycarbonate dividers on desks in all of the classrooms that will be in use.  All students will be required to wear masks and keep a distance of three/six feet from their fellow classmates.  All high-touch areas in our buildings will be cleaned multiple times throughout the day.

We remind our parents to complete the daily health screen each morning before your student arrives at school. If your child is sick, please keep him/her home.
