On August 19, 2026, Sapphire Lopez, Wyatt Nelson, and Jillian Russell officially joined the graduating Class of 2026. They were accompanied by their friends and family as they received their high school diploma. 

The graduates were recognized for their continuous hard-work and perseverance by their administrators. Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Joseph Lenz, celebrated the resilience of these students and offered a valuable lesson.

“I want you to remember that as you move forward, life will bring new challenges,” he said. “There will be moments when things don’t go according to plan, when the path ahead feels difficult, or when you question whether you can make it across the finish line. When those moments come, remember what you accomplished here. You already know what it means to persevere.”

High school principal, Mr. Thomas Breitfeller, also gave his remarks during the ceremony. He emphasizes to the graduates that there is no one particular path to achieving your goals. Everyone progresses at their own pace. What matters more is the consistent work that is put in. He added, “The diploma you are about to receive isn’t just a symbol of academic completion, it is a diploma earned through persistence.”

He then concluded with a powerful reminder for the graduates. “As you step out these doors and into your next chapter, whether that’s college, a trade, the military, or the workforce, take this realization with you: You are tougher than your obstacles.”
