Welcome to the National Junior Honor Society – CVMS inducts 34 new members

Circleville Middle School inducted 34 new members into its chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) on June 11, 2026.

Superintendent Joe Lenz addressed the new inductees about how high an honor it is to be part of the NJHS.

“Each of you has demonstrated the ability to rise to challenges, support your peers and contribute positively both inside and outside the classroom,” said Mr. Lenz. “Your hard work and perseverance have brought you to this moment, and you should take great pride in all that you have accomplished.”

In order to be eligible and maintain membership in the CVMS National Junior Honor Society, students must:

  • have a cumulative GPA of 93 or higher;
  • participate in service and citizenship activities;
  • exemplify leadership in their role as ambassador of the society;
  • have good character;
  • uphold the rules of the district’s Code of Conduct.

Mr. Lenz reminded the new members of the responsibility that comes with this honor, and the journey ahead.

“Continue to lead with integrity, serve with compassion and pursue excellence in everything you do,” he said. “Our community looks to young people like you to make a positive difference in the world.

“Tonight is a celebration of achievement but it is also the beginning of an exciting journey ahead,” Mr. Lenz continued. “On behalf of the district, I extend my sincere congratulations to each inductee and wish you continued success. I look forward to all that you will accomplish in the years ahead in Pine Bush.”

We congratulate all of the new inductees and thank them for their hard work in getting here.
