Four Pine Bush High School students receive prestigious National School Development Council awards

Four Pine Bush students were presented with the Award for Academic Growth and Student Leadership in Learning, which is sponsored by the National School Development Council.

 

Interim Superintendent of Schools Amy Brockner introduced the four recipients at the May 27, 2025 board of education meeting – Peter Agro, Kathryn Cragan, Jack Fowler and Christine Omosebi.

“The Mid-Hudson School Study Council has offered us the opportunity to present the National School Development Council Awards for Academic Growth and Student Leadership in Learning,” she said. “It’s a prestigious recognition designed to celebrate outstanding high school juniors and seniors.”

The award is presented to students who have consistently demonstrated sustained academic effort and show progress and dedication to their academic goals over time. In addition, the students are recognized for their character, integrity and leadership.

“The students serve as positive role models and embody the values of hard work, personal responsibility and commitment to lifelong learning,” said Ms. Brockner. “They contribute positively to our schools. This is a celebration of past accomplishments and recognition of the promise these students hold for future success.”
