Ketura Rutty and Leticia Watson sign to play basketball and attend Dominican University

A festive afternoon and the color red was abundant as Ketura Rutty and Leticia Watson signed their letters of intent to play basketball and attend Dominican University in the fall.

Both Ketura and Leticia are stand-out players on the court as well as for the Pine Bush flag football team. More importantly, they are excellent students and, according to their coach, Michelle Bouffard, leaders who share a tremendous work ethic.

Ketura plans to study nursing while Leticia will study psychology.

Their families and friends gathered to watch them sign their letters, each getting generous scholarships. Coach Bouffard, along with Assistant Coach Lisa Bouffard, who is an alumnus of Dominican, presented the young women with new Nikes for all the running they will soon be doing!

Dominican is a private Division II university, located in Orangeburg, N.Y. The coaches are looking forward to getting to see Ketura and Leticia play at Dominican! Congratulations to these outstanding young women.
