Three Pine Bush musicians participate in NYSSMA All-State Festival

Pine Bush High School seniors Ashleigh Berentsen, Tommy Brendel and Kiera Masci participated in the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) All-State Festival this past weekend in Rochester. All are students of Ralph Wagner, who is pictured with them.

Three high school students and their teacher stand arm-in-arm. They are all dressed casually. The two young women are on the left, then the adult, and a young man on the right. They all have large ids around their necks.

Ashleigh participated in the wind ensemble; Kiera was part of the mixed choir; and Tommy participated in the jazz ensemble. All three received perfect scores on the highest level solo, which gained them acceptance into the festival.

Congratulations to these three outstanding, hardworking and deserving musicians!
