Universal pre-kindergarten openings at Circleville Elementary School and Pakanasink Elementary School
Pine Bush offers morning and afternoon pre-k sessions at each of its four elementary schools. There are openings available in the Circleville Elementary School and Pakanasink Elementary School for the 2020-2021 pre-k sessions.
Bus transportation is provided one way only: to school for the morning session and from school for the afternoon session. Therefore, parents must be available to pick up children at 11:15 a.m. for the morning session and drop them off for the afternoon session at 12:45 p.m. The hours for the classes are:
- Morning – 8:55 – 11:15 a.m.
- Afternoon – 12:45 – 3 p.m.
Children must be four years old by Dec. 1, 2020 to attend pre-k.
Parents and guardians must go to the district website and click on the pre-k application link at the top of the website to complete the application for the program. Or click here for the pre-k application.
The pre-k classes at Pine Bush Elementary and Edward J. Russell Elementary are filled for the upcoming school year. However, parents/guardians living in those attendance zones should complete the application process to be placed on the waiting list.
Selection for enrollment in pre-k is completed through a lottery process. If your child is chosen, you will contacted and informed about the next step in the registration process.
For more information about the registration process for Universal Pre-Kindergarten, go to the pre-k page on the district website or call the pre-k secretary, Joanne O’Brien, at 845-744-2031, ext. 5702.
