Dear 8th Grade Gold Students,

Welcome to your eighth grade year!  We are greatly looking forward to the start of a new school year.  We hope that you have had a wonderful summer so far and are looking forward to this new beginning.

As an eighth grader, there are several special events to work towards and look forward to.  As you begin the final year of middle school, you will be expected to be more independent and assume more responsibility.  Our goal is to prepare you for the expectations at the high school and to help you build skills that will help you in your future.

We are looking forward to meeting you in September and a supply list and summer reading list are available on the school website to  help you prepare for the start of a new year.  Enjoy the remainder of your summer break and we hope you return refreshed and ready to learn!
